For a fun change of pace, I thought I would let my husband and daughter submit a photo essay on their experiences at the Arlington Parks and Recreation EcoFest a couple of weeks ago. They had a wonderful time and came back with a rain barrel–which actually has come in handy recently as those of us in North Texas keep getting these unseasonal showers.
So, without further ado, Zach and Olivia’s impression of EcoFest, 2013!
We arrive and begin our job as photojournalists.
Class begins, and we install the valve.
Finishing up the barrel. Our friend Nicole got hers too.
After working that hard, we needed some hot dogs from Top Dog. We also needed a nap in the hammock. While napping we spotted ECOMAN. Dad got his picture, but Olivia just laughed. We got a FREE tree!!
The petting zoo where the donkey attacked Dad’s camera. Again, Olivia just laughed.
Birds of Prey and a Poisonous Toad
Fun in the Fountain!
